Daniel A. Kautz

IAR Investment Advisor Representative with American Portfolios Advisors, Inc.

Daniel A. Kautz is a Registered Investment Representative with investment experience since 1999. Building and maintaining client relationships is Dan’s top priority.
Due to personal life experience, Dan focuses a portion of his practice on funding and managing Supplemental Needs Trusts and works closely with others in the field.

In his free time, Dan and his wife Mary Lynne enjoy traveling. Dan studied at HESS Higher School of Economics Studies in Amsterdam Holland, as well as graduated from Buffalo State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Economics and Finance.

Jeffrey Buckley

Attorney at Law, Certified Financial Planner™

Jeffrey Buckley is an Attorney and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®.

Jeff was admitted as an Attorney in New York in 1994 and focuses his legal practice primarily in the areas of Financial and Estate Planning, Business formation, counseling, retirement plan implementation and succession planning and Estate Administration.

Jeff earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification in 2010.  He is an Investment Adviser Representative and Registered Representative with American Portfolios Financial Services, Inc. and holds FINRA Series 4, 6, 7, 24, 31, 51, 53 and 63 licenses.

A native of Ohio, Jeff earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University and a Juris Doctor degree from Ohio Northern University.

Jeff is a member of the New York State Bar Association’s Trusts and Estates and Elder Law Sections and a member of the Erie County Bar Association’s Surrogate’s Court and Elder Law Committees.

Jeff is an active member and Past President of the Western New York Chapter of the Financial Planning Association and currently serves on the Planning Board for the Town of Clarence and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Clarence Senior Center.  In addition, Jeff is an active member of the Clarence Rotary Club and serves as a Board member.

Jeff has previously served as Vice President of the Amherst Senior Citizen’s Foundation and as a Board Member of both the Amherst and Clarence Chambers of Commerce.

Jeff lives with his wife and four children in Clarence and has served as a coach with the Clarence Soccer Club and the Amherst Youth Hockey organization.

Mariah

Mariah Hollingsworth

Financial Assistant

Mariah graduated from the University at Buffalo in December 2022 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a Minor in Business Finance. Since graduating, she has worked in banks and financial institutions for the past five years.

Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, she moved to Buffalo about three years ago for a new adventure. She has very much enjoyed the snow and culture WNY has to offer. One thing she misses however, is the Green Chile from NM.

In her spare time she enjoys cooking, playing soccer, painting, and camping.

Christopher Balisteri

IRS Licensed Enrolled Agent

Christopher Balisteri is a licensed IRS Enrolled Agent with over 20 years of experience within accounting, auditing and financial management systems.

Prior to joining Dak- Tax, Chris owned a tax planning firm with expertise in personal income tax, small business tax and financial planning and military income. Chris knows the importance of building client relationships and is dedicated to providing superior customer service.

When not in the accounting world, Chris enjoys spending time with his family and volunteering for Habit for Humanity.

Christen Keller

Senior Financial Assistant

Christen Keller joined Kautz/Buckley Independent Wealth Management as an Administrative Assistant and is currently our Senior Financial Assistant. She graduated from the University at Buffalo with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Marketing. Christen has over 9 years in the Financial Industry and 20 years in Customer Service.

Christen recently moved back home to WNY to be closer to family, after having relocated to Albany after college. In her spare time, she enjoys working out, drawing and painting, as well as binging true crime documentaries and podcasts.
